GRSRD&H Names Counsel and Adds Five Associates

Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel LLP, one of the major New Jersey law firms, announces that Allen V. Brown has been named counsel to the firm and James L. Fennessy, Kamran Khurshid, Kellie A. Lavery, Jennifer J. McDermott and David S. Schechter have joined the firm as associates.

Allen V. Brown is a member of the firm’s Tax, Trusts and Estates Department and concentrates his practice in general tax and estate planning. He also has experience in corporate transactions, commercial and financial transactions, real estate and securities law. A graduate of the University of Sheffield, England, Brown earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law - Camden. He also received an LL.M. in Tax from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Tax Court.

James L. Fennessy is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. Prior to joining the firm, he served in the State Police Affairs Unit in the Office of the Attorney General and was a New Jersey State Trooper. Fennessy is a graduate, cum laude, of Seton Hall University and received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.

Kamran Khurshid is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department and served as a summer associate with the firm in 2001. Khurshid is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Florida, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Kellie A. Lavery is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and served as a summer associate with the firm in 2001. She is a graduate of Rutgers University, Douglass College, and received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Jennifer J. McDermott is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Department and served as a summer associate with the firm in 2001. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law - Newark. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

David S. Schechter is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and served as a summer associate with the firm in 2001. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and received his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
