GRSD partner and chair of the Construction Law Practice Group, Dennis A. Estis, was awarded the 2009 David Pavlovsky "Service to the Bar" Award by Past President Peter Barnes, III at the May 20, 2009 Middlesex County Bar Association Annual Installation Dinner. The Pavlovsky Award signifies unusual and extraordinary help and assistance that has been given generously and in a spirit of self-sacrifice and is awarded to MCBA members who truly exemplify the characteristics that other lawyers admire, respect and honor. Mr. Estis is a past president of the MCBA and former member of the Middlesex County Bar Foundation Board of Trustees.

Mr. Estis recently addressed the Litigation Counsel of America on the newest innovations and case law in ADR, as well as the benefits and drawbacks of early mediation at their Spring Conference in Santa Fe, NM in May. He is a Charter Fellow of the LCA.

For his accomplishments, Mr. Estis is listed in The Best Lawyers In America in the Construction Law category and Super Lawyers – New Jersey Edition in the Construction/Surety practice area. He is also listed in The International Who’s Who of Construction Lawyers and in The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers, both since 2007. Mr. Estis is a past chair of the Construction Litigation Committee of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association and a member of the ABA’s Forum on the Construction Industry. Locally, Mr. Estis is a member of the NJ State Bar Association Construction and Public Contracts Section and the NJ Builders Association. 

Mr. Estis graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. and received his Juris Doctor from NYU School of Law.
