Greenbaum Partner Dennis Estis Speaks at Litigation Counsel of America Conference

Dennis A. Estis, Litigation Department Partner at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis, LLP, spoke at the 2010 Fall Conference and Induction of Fellows for the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) on October 28-29 in Naples, Florida. The LCA is an elected honorary society whose members are trail lawyers and represents less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Mr. Estis is a Founding Fellow of the LCA.

Fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are carefully selected based upon evaluations of excellence, effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, and superior ethical reputation. The LCA seeks a high level of diversity in its composition and includes Women’s and Diversity Initiatives.

Mr. Estis, chair of the firm’s Construction Practice Group, focuses his practice on complex litigation, particularly relating to construction, condominiums, general business disputes, alternate dispute resolution (ADR), and real estate. He has served as counsel to numerous developers, condominiums and cooperatives, several New Jersey municipalities, one of the major sewerage authorities in the state and a private school. He served as lead public entity counsel in the largest landfill case ever conducted in Middlesex County, New Jersey.

Mr. Estis is a past president of the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA) and is the recipient of the David Pavlovsky "Service to the Bar" Award from the MCBA (2009). He is a past chair of the Construction Litigation Committee of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association (ABA); member of the Ethical Standards for Mediation Task Force of the Section of Litigation of the ABA; and member of the Forum on the Construction Industry of the ABA. He is listed in The Best Lawyers In America in the Construction Law category.
