Christine F. Li, a Real Estate Partner in the Woodbridge office of the law firm Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, was recently named Chair of the Board of Consultors of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association for the 2010-2011 term.

Ms. Li is the chair of the firm’s Planned Real Estate Practice Group and co-chair of the Distressed Real Estate Practice Group. She focuses her practice on condominium and planned real estate development law, including the conversion of rental properties to the condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial and business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and the registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. She has experience in the acquisition and sale, financing and leasing of commercial and residential real estate. She represents developers, sponsors of the conversion of rental properties, community associations, and lending institutions.

Ms. Li is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the College of Community Association Lawyers. She is Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated AV® and has been listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers in the Real Estate category since 2007. Ms. Li was selected for inclusion for Super Lawyers - New Jersey Edition in Real Estate in 2008, 2009 and 2010; Super Lawyers - Corporate Counsel Edition in 2009 and 2010; and one of New Jersey's Top 50 Women Lawyers, 2008.

Ms. Li is a co-author of New Jersey Condominium and Community Association Law (Smith, Estis & Li, Gann Law Books, 2010) and is the author of Real Estate Closing Procedures, Practical Skills Series, NJ-ICLE, most recently published in 2010. She served as moderator at the 2009 and 2010 Annual Real Estate Conferences hosted by NJ-ICLE and was a presenter at the NJ-ICLE seminar, Commercial Real Estate Transactions: From Handshake to Closing Table (Part II), on "Common Interest Ownership," in 2009.

Ms. Li is a graduate of Rutgers University and received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
