Paul A. Rowe was selected as one of the Top 10 attorneys in New Jersey in Super Lawyers – New Jersey Edition 2009, as well as being selected in the Business Litigation practice area. He has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2009 (14th Ed.) in the Bet-the-Company, Appellate Law, Commercial Litigation and Family Law categories.

Robert S. Greenbaum and Wendell A. Smith recently were honored as two of the preeminent lawyers in the country by Best Lawyers. Both have been listed in the well respected lawyer rating directory since its inception in 1983.

Arthur M. Greenbaum was honored by Best Lawyers as Real Estate Lawyer of the Year in New Jersey.

Wendell A. Smith was elected chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation in Holmdel, NJ.

Dennis A. Estis was awarded the 2009 David Pavlovsky "Service to the Bar" Award by the Middlesex County Bar Association.

Mark H. Sobel was selected by the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Section to receive the 2009 Saul A. Tischler Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the practice of family law.  Mark was also listed as one of the top 100 New Jersey attorneys in Super Lawyers – New Jersey edition 2009.

Barry S. Goodman was re-elected to a three-year term on the Board of Trustees of the Hunterdon Healthcare System, the parent organization of the Hunterdon Medical Center and was appointed to the Hunterdon Medical Center Quality Committee.

J. David Ramsey authored of “COAH Scarce Resource Restraint,” Quarterly Notes, NJ Community Builder Association, in the April 2009 edition, and “Springtime, Lawn Maintenance and Controversy,” Managers’ Quick Tips, March, 2009. In April, Dave was also a contributor to the CAI Newsletter on the topic of leasehold trends in common interest communities. Dave was also recently named Chair to the Government and Public Affairs Committee of CAI National.

Robert S. Goldsmith co-taught the redevelopment course at the Kislak Real Estate Institute and is teaching redevelopment at Rutgers Law School.

Thomas C. Senter was elected to a three-year term as Vice-Chair of the Board of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC). He was also reelected to a three-year term as a member of the Executive Committee of EHMC and was appointed Chair of its Professional Affairs Committee. Tom and Lisa J. Clapp authored an article for NJ Esq. Newspaper, “What Every Employer and Their Counsel Must Know About the New Cobra Subsidy,” which was published on March 30th.

Meryl A.G. Gonchar and Thomas J. Denitzio, Jr. became the co-chairs of the Real Estate Department in April. Meryl was also listed as one of the top 50 women attorneys in NJ in Super Lawyers – New Jersey edition; named a Woman of Influence by Real Estate New Jersey Magazine; and was selected for Real Estate New Jersey’s “Meet the Real Estate Lawyers” May/June issue.

Aron M. Schwartz and Stephanie G. Reckord had their article, “ABCs of the Paid Family Leave Act,” published in the NJ Chamber magazine, Enterprise, in March.

David A. Roth was appointed Vice Chair of Technology of the American Bar Association’s Section on Environment, Energy, and Resources and was re-elected one of the Directors of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section

Galit Kierkut was named Chief Financial Officer of the Executive Committee of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors and was reappointed as co-chair of the Task Force on Women in the Profession for Essex County Bar Association. Galit was also named an editor of the Labor Law Quarterly, newsletter of the New Jersey State Bar Associations’ Employment Law Section.

Steven Nudelman was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers - Rising Stars edition in the Construction Litigation category. Articles Steve has recently published include: "The Perils of the Statute of Frauds," Plumbing Systems & Design, Apr. 2009 and "RTGC: Read the General Contract," Plumbing Systems & Design, Jan./Feb. 2009 at 18. Steve’s column is entitled “The Legal Pipeline.”

Hany A. Mawla was appointed to Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Immigration Policy Network.

Allen V. Brown is the author of the original manuscript of LexisNexis Tax Advisor- Federal Topical, Chapter 1A:8, Discharge of Indebtedness. Allen also wrote the recently released client alert on the NJ Tax Amnesty Act.

Joanne Vos was selected to Benchmark Litigation 2009 and named a "Future Star." She was recognized by Real Estate New Jersey magazine as one of New Jersey's most influential women in real estate. Joanne was also installed as President of the New Jersey Defense Association.  She authored numerous GRSD client alerts including, “Franklin Mutual Insurance Company v. Metropolitan Property & Casualty Insurance Company: Application of Continuous Trigger Theory,” “New Jersey Site Remediation Reform Act Passed to Relieve NJDEP Backlog ”, “Recent Federal Tax Incentives for Building Green” and “The Residential Development Solar Energy Systems Act.”

Jennifer A. Loheac authored two published articles: “Condominium Leasehold Restrictions, Unbundled Property Rights,” The New Jersey Cooperator, April 2009 and “Fannie Mae: Revamped Policies for Condominium Conveyances,” in Community Trends, April 2009.

Stacy M. Manobianca was elected Vice-Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Essex County Bar Association. She also served as the Co-Chair of Essex County Law Day.
