GRSD Awards Scholarship to Christina Messina
Each year the firm makes available up to three $5,000 scholarships that can be awarded to a deserving child of a GRSD staff person who has been an employee for at least seven years. This year one such scholarship was awarded to Christina Messina, daughter of Joann DiCapua, a veteran staffer with twenty-three years of tenure.
Christina is a junior at Montclair State University where she is majoring in psychology and early childhood education. She plans on a career as an elementary school teacher.
The GRSD Scholarship is based on both merit and need. Recipients must be fulltime college students in good standing in all classes and maintain a satisfactory grade point average.
