GRSD welcomes Alan S. Pralgever, Ellen C. Marshall, Shirleen Roberts and Gary L. Koenigsberg to the firm.
Alan Pralgever joins us as a partner from WolfBlock and concentrates his commercial litigation practice in several areas including corporate, partnership and medical practice dissolutions, and corporate and business disputes. He is also involved in construction litigation and related areas, about which he has written and lectured extensively, representing owners, general contractors, and public institutions such as school boards. Alan also handles employment discrimination matters, wills and estate litigation, an area in which he has litigated extensively in New Jersey, divorce matters, and real estate and corporate lending disputes. He frequently appears in arbitration matters and is appointed to the panel of arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association for commercial and construction matters.
Ellen Marshall joins us as of counsel from her longstanding private practice in West Orange. Clients of her family law practice include high and medium net worth individuals with complex financial and custodial issues. She has handled complex matrimonial cases to conclusion before both the trial and appellate courts. Ellen has been appointed guardian ad litum by courts in cases involving custody issues.
Gary Koenigsberg joins us as counsel from WolfBlock. He practices in the areas of corporate and business disputes, construction litigation, insurance litigation and personal injury and product liability litigation.
All three reside in the firm’s Roseland office.
Shirleen Roberts has joined the Woodbridge office as counsel in the Litigation Department. Previously, she was a summer associate with the firm during the summer of 1989, and then joined us as a full time associate in September 1990. Shirleen left the firm in 1997 to become in-house legal counsel at K. Hovnanian, where she worked for 10 years. She then went to Stanberry Development, a retail developer, as in-house legal counsel and as a development project manager. Shirleen will primarily focus on construction law.
We also welcome our 2008 first year associates: Nicholas P. Grippo, a former law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, and Steven Gladis, Jessica Goldfinger and Kim Wozniak, former summer associates with the firm. Nicholas, Steven and Jessica work in our Woodbridge office and Kim resides in the Roseland office.
