Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP

Practice Areas

We operate through five departments and numerous interdisciplinary practice groups. Recognizing a client's needs is not simply a matter of legal analysis. It is a matter of the client's business objectives, personal circumstances, financial considerations, budgetary constraints and all of the other factors that make each case and each client unique.

Corporate

While we represent multinational companies doing business in the state, we have a mid market focus. That means that many businesses rely on our lawyers as their outside general counsels in diverse areas such as employment law, tax, business financing, mergers and acquisitions and real estate, to name a few. We are your corporate department just down the hall.

Environmental

The attorneys in our Environmental Department bring deep and comprehensive knowledge and experience to the task of advising and representing clients on issues within this complex, continually evolving area of the law. Our practice encompasses the full spectrum of federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations and their impact on real estate, business and lending transactions and business operations in New Jersey and around the nation.

Litigation

With half of our 100+ attorneys as active litigators, our department is one of the most comprehensive in the state. Our precedent setting case decisions on behalf of New Jersey businesses and individuals, and our representation of multinational companies doing business in New Jersey are briefed under "Representative Matters."

Real Estate

For over 65 years we have worked on every phase of the life cycle of commercial real estate projects from inception onwards. Our department is one of the largest and most respected in the state and we have pioneered emerging areas such as redevelopment, land use, and planned communities, among others.

Tax, Trusts & Estates

Today's tax, trusts and estate issues spell tomorrow's success. We help clients with basic and sophisticated estate planning, tax minimization and wealth accumulation strategies, elder law, employee benefits, and business succession planning.
