Dennis A. Estis, chair of the firm’s Construction Law Practice Group and a partner in the Litigation Department, will speak at the Litigation Counsel of America’s (LCA) Fall Conference and Induction of Fellows on October 30-31, 2008, in Napa Valley, California. He will address ethical issues faced by advocates and mediators during mediation. As a Charter Fellow of LCA, Mr. Estis will be recognized at a banquet at The Vintage Estate Hotel. LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society, which represents less than one half of one percent of American lawyers.

Mr. Estis was also recently selected for inclusion in The International Who’s Who of Construction Lawyers 2008. He was nominated by his peers as one of the world’s leading practitioners in the Construction Law field and is only one of 12 selected attorneys in New Jersey. 

Mr. Estis concentrates his practice in commercial matters, litigation and ADR. He has lectured on various legal matters including ADR, trial practice, the training and handling of experts, and condominium, cooperative, construction, and real estate law. He served on the Task Force on Mediation Ethics of the ABA Litigation Section. Listed in The Best Lawyers In America in the Construction Law, Municipal Law and Commercial Litigation categories, Mr. Estis is the past chair of the Construction Litigation committee of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association where he is also a member of the Forum on the Construction Industry. He is a member of the New Jersey Builders Association and is a past president of the Middlesex County Bar Association.
