Real Estate Partner Meryl A.G. Gonchar will be a panelist at an upcoming seminar on “Land Use Basics,” to be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) on June 13, 2014 from 9:00am – 4:00pm at the Sheraton Edison Hotel Raritan Center in Edison, NJ.

The seminar will provide a roadmap for navigating through the increasingly complex bureaucratic maze of permits, approvals and other governmental regulations. Speakers will review the basics of the land use practice and provide tips for appearing before local planning and zoning boards.

Ms. Gonchar's practice encompasses all aspects of land use and zoning and land use litigation.  She has appeared before planning and zoning boards throughout the state on behalf of property owners and developer clients in connection with all types of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed use projects. She also represents clients in land use, condemnation and related litigation before the Superior Court of New Jersey. Her diversified experience enables her to assist clients throughout the various stages of a project’s development, from acquisition through approvals and permitting, financing, leasing or sales, providing extensive knowledge and continuity throughout the often long and complicated process of land development.
