Robert S. Goldsmith, co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, will be a panelist at TransAction 2016 – the New Jersey Transportation Conference and Expo – which will be held on April 12-14, 2016 at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City. Mr. Goldsmith will be a speaker for a workshop session on “Planning Law” on Tuesday, April 12th.
TransAction 2016 presents workshop sessions focused on topics including bus, rail, roads, bridges, goods movement, pedestrian/bicycle, paratransit, community transportation and ports. The conference is attended by managers/directors, planners, grant writers, operators, elected officials, municipal/county/state representatives, consultants and administrators.
Mr. Goldsmith's practice focuses on redevelopment, downtown and urban revitalization, transit oriented development, project financing and incentives, sustainable building initiatives and public-private partnerships. His experience encompasses counseling clients on the specialized issues in redevelopment related to parking demand, design and construction. Mr. Goldsmith also has broad experience in complex commercial litigation, construction litigation and appellate work.
