Daniel Flynn and David A. Roth, members of the firm’s Environmental Department, will present a live webinar on “The New Hazardous Waste Pharmaceuticals Rule Explained: How to Develop Your Strategy for Compliance.” The program, hosted by BLR—Business and Legal Resources, will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 2:00 – 3:00pm (ET).

Mr. Flynn and Mr. Roth’s presentation will cover the proposed rule’s background and provisions, likely timelines for the rule’s implementation, and guidelines on how best to prepare and comply with this new set of EPA regulations.

Topics to be addressed include: 

Mr. Flynn’s practice encompasses compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, environmental litigation management and avoidance, the environmental aspects of real property and business transactions, site remediation projects, and issues related to the management of hazardous waste across a variety of industries. He provides guidance related to environmental compliance and risk management associated with workplace safety and product stewardship laws including the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). He assists solid waste service vendors in obtaining the required A-901 licenses and Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity required under New Jersey law to operate within the state.

Mr. Roth has over 25 years of experience in the representation of companies, businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex environmental, health and safety matters. He assists clients in successfully resolving compliance and enforcement issues that arise under federal and state statutes, including New Jersey’s Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) and Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Clean Water Act, the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and Right-to-Know laws.
