John D. North, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will participate as a panelist for the seminar “Evidence 2016: The Most Recent Rules & Case Law Developments Affecting Demonstrative, Eyewitness & Electronic Evidence.” The program will be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on December 3 from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.

This seminar will focus on civil evidence rules and their practical application. Mr. North and his fellow panelists will discuss a broad range of developing issues in the world of evidence.

Mr. North is the author of “A Trial Lawyers Strategic Guide to New Jersey Rules of Evidence,” a 2013 NJICLE treatise that provides tips and concrete strategies to practitioner’s in the state.  His litigation practice emphasizes trial practice, and he is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.  Mr. North’s representation of clients encompasses the defense of catastrophic injury and other high exposure cases in the areas of negligence, public entity liability, construction, and professional liability, including the defense of attorneys, accountants and insurance brokers. He also concentrates in commercial and banking litigation and maintains a personal injury practice limited to the representation of plaintiffs in cases involving significant injuries and complex liability issues.
