The New Jersey State Bar Association’s Annual Meeting and Convention took place on May 14-16, 2014 at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. A number of attorneys from Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis were on hand to participate in various CLE program offerings.

Raymond M. Brown served as a panelist for the seminar “Honing Your Leadership Skills Through Pro Bono Service,” presented by the Women in the Profession Section and the Lawyers in Transition Committee. He also spoke at the session "Marketing and Ethics 2014: Maximizing Results While Avoiding Liability," presented by the Law Office Management Committee. Mr. Brown is a Litigation partner and chair of the firm’s White Collar Defense and Corporate & International Human Rights Compliance Practice Groups.

Andrea J. Sullivan spoke on the panel “Injunction Practice and Expedited Litigation in State and Federal Court,” presented by the Equity Jurisprudence Committee, of which she is a former vice chair. Ms. Sullivan is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Glenn Berman moderated and spoke at a session on “Handling the High Profile Case,” a seminar for litigators. Judge Berman, Of Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department, was joined on the panel by Ellen C. Marshall, Of Counsel in the firm’s Family Law Department. Judge Berman is a member of Bar’s Family Law Executive Committee, Equity Jurisprudence Committee, Amicus Committee, Business Law Section and Labor & Employment Section.

Emily A. Kaller was a panelist for “Hot Tips for Hot Litigators,” presented by the Civil Trial Bar Section and the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, of which Ms. Kaller is a member of the Board of Trustees. She also participated on the panel, “Is It Because I’m ____ - How Do YOU Fill in the Blank?” which discussed issues surrounding being a member of an underrepresented group in the legal community. In addition, Ms. Kaller spoke at the seminar “Gender Bias in the Private and Corporate Law Office Environment and How to Avoid It.”  Ms. Kaller is the immediate past chair of the Bar’s Women in the Profession Section, which presented this session in collaboration with the Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts, of which Ms. Kaller is also a member. Ms. Kaller is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and chair of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Forum.
