Alan S. Naar and Raymond M. Brown, partners of the law firm Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, have published chapters in the highly regarded Inside the Minds series of executive books authored by experts on legal and business topics. The series is published by Aspatore Books, Inc.

Naar is vice chair of the Litigation Department and chair of the Dispute Resolution Group at Greenbaum. In the Inside the Minds series, he authored the chapter “Understanding the Benefits and Risks of Alternative Dispute Resolution,” in the book Winning Strategies for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Naar’s practice concentration is in commercial litigation representing a variety of corporate, partnership, and individual clients. His broad experience includes litigation, arbitration and mediation in the following areas: corporate and partnership disputes, trademark and unfair trade practices, trade secrets, antitrust, business torts, professional malpractice, land use and redevelopment, and trust and estate litigation. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Federal Practice and Procedure Committee of the NJ State Bar Association. Naar is presently a trustee of the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey and a director of the Columbia Law School Alumni Association.

Brown, who is chair of the White Collar Defense and Corporate Compliance Practice Group at Greenbaum, contributed a chapter on client relationships and strategy considerations in the Aspatore, Inc. book White Collar Law Client Strategies. He concentrates his practice on internal investigations and all other aspects of white collar criminal defense. Throughout the course of his career, Brown has handled a wide variety of criminal and civil matters representing individuals and corporations. In addition, Brown has been a trial lawyer, teacher, and legal journalist since 1974. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, as well as the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. He is well known as the host of the Emmy Award winning New Jersey Network Program Due Process.
