Andrea J. Sullivan, a partner at the law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, was recently installed as President of the Middlesex County Bar Foundation at the Foundation’s Annual Dinner. She also serves on the Foundation’s Finance and Scholarship Committees and as Chair of the Association’s Women’s Law Section. Sullivan was also recently sworn-in as a Trustee of the Middlesex County Bar Association and as Vice Chair of the Equity Jurisprudence section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Sullivan is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. She concentrates her practice in commercial, estate and matrimonial litigation. In commercial litigation matters Sullivan handles cases involving many types of business conflicts including contract disputes, the breakup of business, sometimes called business divorce, hiring and terminating key employees, and protecting employees from competitive offers. In the areas of estate litigation and matrimonial litigation, Sullivan has been involved in numerous situations involving the use of sophisticated business valuations.
Sullivan has been an invited member of the Women Presidents’ Organization for the last five years. She also serves as president of the Board of Trustees of Central Jersey Legal Services. Sullivan is a vice chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Equity Jurisprudence Committee and, as a member of the Committee, has spoken at the NJSBA Annual Conference numerous times. A graduate, cum laude, of Mount Holyoke College, Sullivan attended Rutgers University School of Law - Newark where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and graduated with high honors.
