Christine F. Li, partner in the Woodbridge office of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel LLP, has been elected as a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). ACREL membership is by invitation only and is limited to persons who have established expertise in real estate law, who observe high standards of professional and ethical conduct, who have contributed substantially to improvement of real estate law and practice and who have a minimum of ten years experience in real estate law. Six partners of the firm are members of ACREL.
Li is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department and Planned Real Estate Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in condominium and planned real estate development law; the acquisition and financing of commercial and residential real estate; leasing; and the representation of community associations. She has extensive experience with the registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
Li serves as an instructor of the New Jersey Real Estate Law and Practice component of the Skills and Methods Course administered by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). Li was awarded a Distinguished Service Award for excellence in continuing legal education by ICLE in 2000. She presently serves on the Ad Hoc Committee on the Skills and Methods Course created by the New Jersey Supreme Court and is a member of the Amicus Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Li has served as an elected member of the Board of Directors and vice president of the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. She is a member of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey.
Li is the author of the textbook entitled, Real Estate Closing Procedures, Practical Skills Series, published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. She is the contributing author of the "Common Interest Ownership in Commercial Real Estate" chapter of ICLE’s 2003 publication, Commercial Real Estate Transactions in New Jersey. She is a frequent lecturer on real estate topics for various professional and trade organizations.
