Paul Rowe was again listed as one of the Top Three Attorneys in Super Lawyers - New Jersey Edition 2010, as well as being selected in the business litigation category.

Dennis A. Estis was honored by Best Lawyers as Construction Lawyer of the Year in New Jersey. 

Alan Naar had an article published in Metropolitan Corporate Counsel in May entitled, “The Impact of E-Discovery on Litigation Trends.” During the first two days of publication, it was accessed over 800 times online.

Barry Goodman was awarded the Lawyer of the Year Award by the Middlesex County Bar Association for his professional accomplishments. The Award was given at the Association’s Annual Installation Dinner held on May 25th at the Colonia Golf Club.

J. David Ramsey was honored by the National Community Associations Institute (CAI) for his work as the chair of Government and Public Affairs Committee and awarded the “Outstanding Volunteer Service Award,” at CAI’s Conference awards banquet on April 30 in Las Vegas, NV. Dave will also continue to serve as Chair of the Government and Public Affairs Committee of National CAI for 2010.

Thomas Denitzio was installed as the President of the Middlesex County Bar Association on May 25th at a dinner ceremony at the Colonia Golf Club. As the representative of the Middlesex County Bar Association, Tom spoke at the Middlesex Vicinage’s annual Law Day celebration on May 1st at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.

Robert Goldsmith was a tour guide for the Walking Tour of Morristown, an event of the NJ Chapter of the American Planning Association.

John North was named to the Top 100 in Super Lawyers - New Jersey Edition 2010.

Christine Li was recently elected Chair of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section at the NJSBA Annual Meeting on May 20, 2010 in Atlantic City. The 2010 edition of Christine’s textbook, Real Estate Closing Procedures, part of the Practical Skills Series, was published in April by NJ ICLE.

Meryl Gonchar received the Middlesex County Bar Association Transactional (Non-Litigation) Attorney Practice Award for excellence in her profession on May 24th. Meryl was also selected to the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Super Lawyers - New Jersey Edition 2010 and was recognized as one of Real Estate Forum magazine’s Women of Influence.

Andrea Sullivan was named by NJBIZ as one of the 50 Best Women in Business in New Jersey, an honor that was celebrated at a dinner reception at the Palace at Somerset Park on April 7th. The honor is bestowed for contributions to one’s profession, business and community. Andrea also received the 2010 Robert J. Cirafasi Chancery Practice Award from the Middlesex County Bar Association for, among other things, her efforts in chairing the Early Settlement Program for the Chancery Division for the past nine years. Andrea was also honored at the MCBA’s Annual Installation Dinner on May 25th for six years services as trustee of the Association.

Aron Schwartz received the 2010 Distinguished Service Award from the Hebrew Academy of Morris County, a K-8 Jewish Day School, on May 6th.

David Roth was appointed Vice Chair of Technology of the Environmental Disclosure Committee of the Section on Environment, Energy and Resources of the American Bar Association for the 2009-2010 ABA Leadership Year. David was appointed to the University of Maryland School of Law Alumni Board.

Gary Wolinetz published “Motions To Transfer Eviction Actions” in the December issue of New Jersey Lawyer Magazine.

Marc Gross was installed to a three year term on the Essex County Bar Association’s Nominating Committee at the Association’s Annual Dinner on April 26th. 

Galit Kierkut was appointed Co-Chief Operations Officer of the Executive Committee of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors and was reappointed Chair of the Task Force on Women in the Profession of the Essex County Bar Association. Galit was also appointed to the Editorial Board of the New Jersey Labor and Employment Law Quarterly. Galit served as a Pro Bono Attorney for Partners for Women in Justice, a non-profit organization that provides a range of free legal assistance to low income women who are victims of domestic violence.  Galit has been asked to serve on the Friends Committee for the National Association of Women Judges’ 2011 Annual Conference. 

Emily Kaller was named Vice Chair of the Women in the Profession Section of the NJ State Bar Association. Emily was also named New Jersey Committee Co-Chair of the Financial Women’s Association. 

Eric Melzer authored an article on IP issues for Commerce and Industry Association’s Commerce Magazine in May. 

Daniel Serviss was was selected for New Jersey Law Journal’s 2010 “40 under 40” list. This annual list highlights the top 40 attorneys of New Jersey under the age of 40.

Joanne Vos was installed as the Chairman of the Board of the NJDA at its Annual Convention in Mystic, CT in June.

Stacy Manobianca was installed as Chair of the Essex County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division at the Association’s Annual Dinner on April 26th.

Senwan Akhtar was named Co-Chair of the Real Estate Committee of the Middlesex County Bar Association.

Jennifer Loheac was appointed to the Community Associations Institute National’s amicus committee for a two year term. The amicus committee reviews applications for amicus briefs requested by CAI members and other interested parties. She also serves on the public policy group of the CAI Government & Public Affairs Committee.
