The NJBIZ Law Power List is compiled by the NJBIZ editorial staff based on reporting throughout the past year with input from experts in a variety of fields and recommendations from readers. The publication seeks to recognize individuals who have gained public attention for their professional accomplishments and public service. According to NJBIZ, honorees are not necessarily better at their jobs than others in their profession, but they have contributed meaningfully to the advancement of the public interest through their work and/or community service.
In addition to her responsibilities as managing partner, Barbara leads the firm’s Energy & Renewable Resources practice. She counsels clients including manufacturers, industrial businesses, solar energy developers, commercial property owners, equity investors, solid waste and recycling facilities, and large energy users including data centers, on a broad scope of transactional and regulatory issues.
Barbara is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Environmental Lawyers. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, New Jersey (CREDA NJ) and on the New Jersey Builders Association’s Environmental Affairs Committee. She is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy and Resources, the New Jersey State Bar Association Public Utility Law and Environmental Law Sections, and the Energy and Florida Bar Associations.
