Matthew J. Schiller, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments, will be a panelist at the “2019 Real Estate Conference,” to be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section on Thursday, April 10, 2019 from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The program will be held at the New Jersey Law Center.
This popular annual conference will focus on timely topics in today’s challenging real estate market. It features many of the state’s most authoritative real estate attorneys discussing the industry’s most current and critical issues. Ms. Schiller and his fellow panelists will provide the latest information surrounding residential and commercial real estate transactions and will cover various real estate topics, including those at the intersection of real estate law and other legal practice areas.
Mr. Schiller, a member of the firm’s Cannabis Industry Practice Group, will speak on legal issues at the intersection of real estate and legalized marijuana, including the conveyance and financing of real estate involved in marijuana distribution and cultivation.
Mr. Schiller concentrates his practice in commercial real estate law. His work encompasses a wide array of commercial real estate transactional, zoning, redevelopment, taxation and litigation matters throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
