Christine F. Li, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department and Chair of the Planned Real Estate Practice Group, will serve as moderator and speaker at the upcoming seminar, Fundamentals of Community Association Law,” presented in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section and the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute.

This seminar, featuring a panel of community association lawyers, will focus on the fundamentals of community association law and provide resources to deal with issues confronted by associations, their governing boards, owners, and other professionals, such as managing agents, accountants and engineers.

Ms. Li focuses her practice in real estate, with a concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law.  Her work encompasses new construction condominium and subdivided lot communities, the conversion of rental properties to the condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial and business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and the registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA).  She has experience in the acquisition and sale, mortgage financing and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, and provides litigation support in cases involving construction defects and transition from sponsor to unit owner control.  Ms. Li’s community association representation includes general counseling, collections, and alternative dispute resolution.
