Matthew J. Schiller, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments, will speak at the two-day seminar “Title Law A to Z: Everything You Don’t Know About Title Law (But Wish You Did),” to be presented on Monday, December 10 and Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 9:00am -4:30pm each day at the Ramada Plaza at Newark Liberty International Airport.

For professionals who handle real estate closings, knowing the ins and outs of title law is not optional. Being able to identify, analyze and cure common defects is vital and comes with an assortment of liabilities and pitfalls. This two-day, inclusive title law course, will present the latest techniques for examining titles and curing common defects, as well as a thorough review of title insurance policies, endorsements and commitments.

Mr. Schiller’s segment will address “Title Insurance, Commitments and Objections” and is scheduled for December 10 from 9:00 – 11:00am, focusing on the following topics:
