Alexandra is a member of the firm's bankruptcy team, with experience spanning both the debtor and creditor sides. She provides representation across Chapter 7, 11 and 13 proceedings. Her work on behalf of clients is informed by the perspective she's gained from her exposure to complex insolvency, restructuring, and federal bankruptcy matters in private practice, as corporate in-house counsel to a major public utility, and as a judicial law clerk.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra served as PSE&G's primary in-house bankruptcy counsel, overseeing outside counsel on multi-state filings and advising operational teams on bankruptcy-related compliance and procedural issues. She also served as PSE&G's lead counsel on an extensive roster of tort defense and commercial litigation matters, managing cases from pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, trial preparation, and appeals. In addition, she provided cross-functional legal support on risk management and legal strategy related to contractual, employment and other business matters.
As a federal bankruptcy court judicial law clerk, Alexandra researched and drafted judicial opinions and memoranda on complex commercial disputes, contract claims, and contested Chapter 7, 11, and 13 matters including plan confirmation, discharge objections, and stay relief.
