Emily A. Kaller, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will be honored by the Middlesex County Bar Association with its 2013 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award. The award will be presented at the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law’s Awards Luncheon on October 17, 2013.

Each year, the Commission presents the award to New Jersey-based lawyers who have demonstrated, in its view, “conduct, competence and demeanor” which sets “a positive example for others in the profession.”

Ms. Kaller's practice focuses on commercial litigation, including disputes arising under licensing agreements, asset sale agreements, financing and credit facilities, and environmental litigation. She has also represented financial institutions in consumer class actions. Her work in chancery practice includes estate litigation, claims for injunctive relief in business disputes, shareholder disputes and restrictive covenants.

Ms. Kaller serves as chair of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Forum. She is the immediate past chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Women in the Profession Section and a former co-chair of the Financial Women’s Association New Jersey Committee.
