Stephanie G. Reckord, a partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Construction Disputes Practice Group, will co-moderate the live webinar “AI in Construction Law: Managing Risks and Opportunities,” to be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education in cooperation with the NJSBA Construction Law Section on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 9:00am –12:00pm.   

Advancements in technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), are revolutionizing the practice of law, including construction law. This program will feature experts from the legal, construction and technology sectors sharing valuable insights, experiences, and strategies for effectively navigating the complex landscape of AI in construction law. With a focus on both the application of technology in the construction industry and its impact on discovery and litigation within construction law cases, attendees will receive a holistic perspective on the evolving legal landscape.

The program agenda is as follows:

Ms. Reckord's litigation practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. Her representation of clients includes matters in the areas of banking, employment, family law, trusts & estates, class action defense, consumer fraud, construction and commercial real estate. In the construction law arena, she represents condominium associations and unit owners in construction-related matters including contract disputes, consumer fraud cases and RICO claims. She represents developers in arbitrations and litigation proceedings regarding construction defects, including buildings and heavy construction projects.
