Live Webinar
3:00 - 5:00pm (ET)

Robert S. Goldsmith, co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, will be on the faculty for the live webcast “Addressing Opportunities and Challenges in Public-Private Partnership,” to be presented by The Knowledge Group on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00pm (ET).

Governments of developing countries are increasingly turning to Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) as an alternative additional source of funding for infrastructure projects due to constraints on financial and public resources. While there are many advantages in employing PPP, there are also a number of potential risks associated with such partnerships. To avoid these risks and leverage the opportunities of PPP, it is important for the parties involved to first understand several key considerations, including the capital investment required, the technical and technological requirements of the project, and the operational controls, before signing a PPP agreement.

Mr. Goldsmith and his fellow speakers will deliver a comprehensive overview of the following topics:

Mr. Goldsmith's practice focuses on redevelopment, downtown and urban revitalization, transit oriented development, project financing and incentives, sustainable building initiatives and public-private partnerships. His experience encompasses counseling clients on the specialized issues in redevelopment related to parking demand, design and construction. Mr. Goldsmith also has broad experience in complex commercial litigation, construction litigation and appellate work.
