Tamires M. Oliveira, an associate in the firm’s Family Law practice, will be sworn in as Co-Historian of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (HBA-NJ) at the Bar’s 46th Annual Installation & Swearing-In Ceremony, which will be held on October 29, 2025, at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange.
In her role as Co-Historian, Tammi will be responsible for preserving and documenting the organization’s history, milestones, and achievements. She will assist in maintaining the HBA-NJ’s institutional memory by archiving records, photos, and event materials to ensure its legacy is accurately reflected and accessible for future members.
Founded in 1980, the HBA-NJ represents the interests of attorneys, judges, law professors and law students who share a common interest in resolving the issues affecting Hispanics within the legal community. The Bar’s goal is to foster a more diverse legal landscape and to address the many issues that affect the Hispanic community in New Jersey.
Tammi assists in the firm's representation of clients in the area of family law. Her work encompasses matters related to divorce and separation proceedings, child custody and support, alimony, marital settlement agreements, domestic partnerships, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence cases, the valuation and distribution of marital assets, and post-judgment enforcement and modification applications.
