Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that our partner and employment practice co-chair Jemi Goulian Lucey has been recognized by the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association as the organization's 2026 NJWLA Women’s Initiative and Leaders in the Law (WILL) Honoree for the Private Sector.
The WILL Awards are presented at the NJWLA’s Annual Gala to individuals in the private, public, corporate and federal and state judicial sectors for their exceptional achievements and contributions to gender equity challenges and other issues unique to women in the legal profession.
A dedicated advocate for women in the legal profession, Jemi is a Past President of NJWLA and most recently served as the organization’s Nominations Co-Director. She has served on NJWLA's Executive Committee and has held numerous leadership roles within the organization, including Co-CFO, Co-COO, Co-Secretary, and Co-Chair of the Judicial Outreach and Programming Committees. In 2019, Jemi received the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award from the NJWLA and the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.
Jemi is a trial attorney who focuses her practice on the representation of private and public entities in employment, higher education, and complex litigation matters in state and federal court. She currently serves as Second Vice President of the Association of the Federal Bar, as Second Vice President of the Historical Society of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and as Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Higher Education Committee. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Association and an Executive Committee member of the NJSBA Labor & Employment Law Section.
