Meghan advises individuals, families and business clients, including high-net-worth individuals and the owners of closely-held businesses, on all aspects of estate planning and administration. Her work encompasses the drafting of wills, trusts, advance directives, powers of attorney and other estate planning documents. She provides guidance related to federal and state income, gift, estate, generation-skipping transfer and other tax matters and their implications within the estate planning and administration contexts. She also manages the administration of trusts and estates with individual fiduciaries, including the preparation of New Jersey inheritance tax returns and federal estate tax returns.
Prior to entering private practice, Meghan worked in the mergers and acquisitions tax group of a "big four" accounting firm, where she advised private equity and corporate clients on the tax consequences of domestic and international M&A transactions and corporate restructurings.
