Floating Assistant/Legal Secretary – Roseland, NJ Office:  We are seeking an experienced Float Assistant/Secretary to assist our office manager and attorneys in a variety of practice groups.  This position requires flexibility and the ability to rapidly adapt to a variety of personalities and working styles are key components for success in this position.  Duties vary in this dual role and ideal candidate should have 3+ years working in a busy law firm.  Primary responsibilities, but not limited to:  Secretarial:  formatting letters, memos, court filings and other documents.  Answers and screens telephone calls in a courteous and timely manner, instituting a process of client intake and tracking.  Opens and closes new matters, including conflicts submission, records and monitors court appearance dates.  Maintains accurate and up-to-date related databases. Monitors incoming and outgoing mail, e-mails and faxes.  Scans and files all substantive communications. Photocopies and faxes documents in a timely and accurate manner.  Float Assistant:  Responsible for appropriate set-up and cleaning of conference rooms. Inspect and ensure that all rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies and continuously ready for use. Assist with the delivery and set-up of catering needs for meetings. Temporary E-Biller – Iselin, NJ Office:  Ideal candidate will be responsible for processing client bills, answers billing inquiries and assists in the monitoring and follow-up of related billing functions.  Duties include but not limited to submitting invoices through the e-billing system, reviews newly opened client matters for assigned attorneys to determine if matters are available through e-billing websites.  Monitor e-billing daily for new invoices and rejections.  Ensures successful submissions of ebilled clients and assist with the resolution of any rejections.  Assist attorneys, legal administrative assistants, and clients with day to day e-billing questions and concerns.  Verifies that client setup, rates, and billing requirements are correct in the eBilling system.  Position requires the ability to work independently, within cross-functional teams, in a collaborative environment.  Individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.  Job Code EBILLER
