Christine F. Li, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, will serve as the moderator of the “2016 Community Association Law Summit,” hosted by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.  The program will be held on November 16, 2016 at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick from 9:00am – 4:30pm. Ms. Li also serves as program coordinator for the Summit.

Ms. Li, chair of the firm’s Community Association and Planned Real Estate Practice Groups, focuses her practice in real estate, with a concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law.  Her work encompasses new construction condominium and subdivided lot communities, the conversion of rental properties to the condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial and business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and the registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA).  She has experience in the acquisition and sale, mortgage financing and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, and provides litigation support in cases involving construction defects and transition from sponsor to unit owner control.  Ms. Li’s community association representation includes general counseling, collections, and alternative dispute resolution.

Ms. Li is a co-author of New Jersey Condominium and Community Association Law and is a frequent lecturer on community association law topics.
