Christine F. Li, Chair of the firm’s Community Association and Planned Real Estate Practice Groups, will lecture at the “2018 Community Association Legislative Update” program to be presented on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 9:30am – 11:45am at the Renaissance at Raritan Valley in Somerset, NJ.  The program is presented by the New Jersey chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NJ) and the New Jersey Legislative Action Committee (LAC).

This annual program focuses on a broad range of issues to New Jersey’s common interest communities.  The agenda will include an update of 2017 legislative topics, including board elections, delinquencies and expedited foreclosures, municipal bonding requirements, solar installations, insurance deductibles, security cameras and snow removal contractors. Ms. Li and her fellow speakers will also look ahead to the 2018-2020 legislative term with a discussion of key pending issues.

Ms. Li focuses her practice in real estate, with a concentration in planned real estate development law and condominium law.  Her work encompasses new construction condominium and subdivided lot communities, the conversion of rental properties to the condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial and business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and the registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA).  Her community association representation includes general counseling, collections, and alternative dispute resolution.
