Steven Nudelman, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, will serve as a program coordinator and be a speaker at the full-day “2021 Construction Law Forum,” to be presented as a live webinar by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 9:00am – 4:00pm. 

The 2021 Construction Law program will provide a day of in-depth analysis of some of the most common areas in construction law. The webinar will feature a practical and strategic discussion of the current legal encounters involving consumer fraud claims, construction liens, municipal mechanics liens, bond claims, the economic loss doctrine, drafting clauses in construction law contracts along with mediations, arbitrations and the Complex Business Litigation Program.

Mr. Nudelman’s segment will address the topic of “Construction Contract Clauses & Risk Allocation.” The program agenda will also cover:

Mr. Nudelman is Co-Vice Chair of the NJSBA Construction Law Section and a Charter Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He concentrates his practice in construction law. For over 25 years he has represented members of the construction industry across a broad spectrum of matters. On the transactional side, Mr. Nudelman works with owners and developers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals to prepare and negotiate contract documents for construction in the New Jersey and New York metropolitan area.  His construction contracting work helps his clients manage the risk inherent in construction projects so they may adequately protect their interests now to avoid claims and disputes in the future.

When claims and disputes are unavoidable, Mr. Nudelman represents clients in state and federal courts throughout the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area, as well as in local and international mediations and arbitrations. He has defended and asserted claims on behalf of owners, developers, condominium associations, general contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, vendors and sureties involved in public and private construction projects.
