Dennis A. Estis will serve as the “mock” moderator with Steven Nudelman and Kersten Kortbawi participating as “mock” lawyers/clients on the webinar “Advanced Mediation Training – Part 1 – Construction Litigation,” to be presented by the Middlesex County Bar Association on Tuesday, July 20 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

This session will include commentary from the panelists as to the ‘Good, the Bad, and the Ugly’ of mediation and will expose attendees to the seriousness of the mediation process and the need to apply high ethical standards, while also providing an opportunity to laugh during the mock proceedings.

Mr. Estis is Co-Chair of the firm’s Construction Disputes Practice Group. As a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, he concentrates his practices on condominium and community association law and complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on construction law, public entity law and alternative dispute resolution. He is an American Arbitration Association trained mediator and arbitrator and sits on the AAA’s national panel.

Mr. Nudelman is Chair of the firm’s Construction Contracting & Risk Management Practice Group. As a partner in the Litigation and Real Estate Departments, he concentrates his practice in construction law. He is appointed to the national roster of arbitrators on the Consumer Panel of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Ms. Kortbawi is an associate in the Litigation Department. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, with experience at in both the federal and state court levels, including insurance defense matters, motor vehicle liability cases, personal injury actions, professional and premises liability cases, environmental claims and general liability matters.
