Live Webinar
9:00 - 11:00 am

Robert B. Hille, a partner in the firm’s Healthcare and Litigation Departments, will serve as a panelist for the webinar “Civics for Legal Professionals,” to be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 9:00 - 11:00 am.

Knowledge is power and informed citizens are empowered citizens. However, many people know very little about our state and federal government. For example, do you know that:

The New Jersey State Bar Association and New Jersey Judiciary have created a program called the Benchmarks Civics Project to foster a better public understanding of civics and the essential role the courts play in a vibrant democracy.

This fun and interactive program is open to all members of the legal profession. Through the project, lawyers and judges will receive ethics/professionalism continuing legal education (CLE) credits when they attend a training session about speaking on civics issues to community groups. Once trained, attorneys who go out and speak with those groups can earn additional ethics/professionalism CLE credits. The program is not political and it isn’t a lecture, but is instead a creative program that will educate, inform and empower.

Mr. Hille focuses his practice in the areas of insurance and healthcare law. He has extensive trial experience and has litigated a number of insurance defense and coverage, healthcare, professional liability defense, fraud and abuse, and regulatory matters. His experience also encompasses the representation of clients in response to state and federal white collar investigations, including those involving allegations and charges of healthcare fraud and abuse and the procurement of fraudulent payments from government entities.

Additional program details and registration are available on the NJICLE website.
