Stephanie G. Reckord, who co-chairs the firm’s Construction Disputes practice, will moderate and be a panelist for a presentation on “Ethical Considerations in Construction Contracts, Mediation and Arbitration” at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2025 Annual Meeting and Convention. The program is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 from 1:30pm – 3:00pm at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.
Stephanie co-chairs the NJSBA’s Construction Law Section, which is sponsoring this seminar. The panel will delve into the ethical considerations involved in negotiating construction contracts and will explore how adherence to ethical standards can impact both sides of a negotiation. The panel will also involve those same considerations in the context of mediation and arbitration
A partner in the firm’s Litigation practice, Stephanie focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. Her representation of clients includes matters in the areas of banking, employment, family law, trusts & estates, class action defense, consumer fraud, construction and commercial real estate. She represents condominium associations and unit owners in construction-related matters including contract disputes, consumer fraud cases and RICO claims. She also represents developers in arbitrations and litigation proceedings regarding construction defects, including buildings and heavy construction projects.
