Mary E. Toscano, Co-Chair of the firm’s Criminal Defense & Regulatory Compliance Practice Group, will be a panelist for a presentation on “Hot Tips in White Collar Defense and Government Investigations” at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2023 Annual Meeting and Convention. The program is scheduled for Thursday, May 18 from 10:30am – 11:45am in Luna at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

This panel for this program, comprised of litigators with state and federal prosecution and investigative experience, will focus on white collar defense and government investigations. They will discuss recent indictments and public comments related to government enforcement priorities and trends – including corporate criminal enforcement, COVID relief fraud, healthcare fraud initiatives, and anti-corruption efforts.

A partner in the Litigation and Healthcare Departments, Ms. Toscano focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense, internal corporate investigations and complex civil litigation. Her work encompasses the defense of clients in criminal investigations, RICO actions, contract and business disputes, and allegations of legal malpractice. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Toscano gained extensive experience as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey for over ten years.
