Jack Fersko, Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, will moderate a full-day seminar on “Indispensable Topics in Commercial Real Estate” on December 16, 2015 from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The program is presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE), and will take place at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  Greenbaum partner Meryl A.G. Gonchar will serve as a panelist and will speak on affordable housing issues.

Since the 1990’s, Mr. Fersko has been coordinating, moderating and lecturing at comprehensive annual seminars addressing a variety of transactional and leasing issues for NJICLE. He will co-moderate this year’s presentation with his colleague and longtime NJICLE collaborator David S. Gordon, Esq. (Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer PA).

Mr. Fersko and Mr. Gordon will lead a panel of commercial real estate professionals through a comprehensive discussion of topics associated with commercial real estate transactions.  They will explore a wide range of complex issues in specialized areas of practice.

Mr. Fersko’s legal services emphasize industrial and commercial real estate activities, with a particular focus on industrial leasing, project financing, sustainable development and alternative energy initiatives, urban redevelopment, and the impact of environmental laws on commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition and redevelopment of environmentally contaminated sites.

Ms. Gonchar's practice encompasses all aspects of land use, zoning and related litigation.  She represents property owners and developers in appearances before planning and zoning boards throughout the state, in connection with obtaining land use approvals and permits for residential, retail, office, industrial and mixed use projects.
