Greenbaum partner Steven Nudelman will present an online seminar on “The Fee Dispute System: What Lawyers Need to Know” on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 4:00pm – 5:00pm. The ethics/professionalism CLE program will be hosted by the Middlesex County Bar Association on the Zoom platform.

Mr. Nudelman is Secretary of the District VIII (Middlesex County) Fee Arbitration Committee. This pro bono role is key to the purposes of the attorney discipline system, which protects both the public and the reputation of the bar. Under the court rules, the Secretary is responsible for, among other things, receiving demands for attorney fee arbitration; keeping full and complete records of all Committee proceedings; communicating with the parties to a fee dispute; coordinating matters with Committee members; and, in certain cases, determining jurisdiction of the Committee.

The seminar agenda is as follows:

A partner in the firm’s Litigation and Real Estate Departments, Mr. Nudelman is Chair of the Construction Contracting & Risk Management Practice Group. For over 25 years he has represented members of the construction industry across a broad spectrum of matters.
