Ann M. WaegerAnn M. Waeger, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, has been elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).  She will serve a three-year term beginning on January 1, 2018.

ACREL is the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers. Admission is by invitation only following a rigorous screening process. ACREL's distinguished, nationally-known lawyers are elected to fellowship in recognition of their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

Ms. Waeger has been an ACREL fellow since 2004. She is currently a member of the group’s Insurance and Communications Committees, and has previously served as both Chair and Vice Chair of the Programs Committee, as Vice-Chair of Programming and as Meeting Leader for Mid-Year meetings, and as a member of the Member Development Committee. 

Ms. Waeger’s practice encompasses the purchase, sale and leasing of industrial and commercial real estate, the formation of business entities and the financing of industrial and commercial real property and business assets. She has a special focus on environmental issues in the transactional setting, including leases and agreements of sale, and the use of environmental insurance policies as a risk management tool.
