Emily A. Kaller, a partner in the Litigation Department at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP’s Woodbridge office, was recently installed as Chair of the Women in the Profession Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. The Section is dedicated to advancing women's rights issues. The installation took place at the NJSBA’s Annual Meeting in May in Atlantic City.

Ms. Kaller also participated in seminars at the Annual Meeting, serving as moderator for the seminar, “Guidance from the Bench-Practical Advice from a Panel of Women Judges,” and speaking at the seminar, “Recognizing and Addressing Gender Bias in the Litigation Process: What Lawyers and Courts Need to Know.”

Ms. Kaller's practice focuses on commercial litigation, including disputes arising under licensing agreements, asset sale agreements, financing and credit facilities, and environmental litigation. She has also represented financial institutions in consumer class actions. Ms. Kaller has extensive experience in appellate practice before the New Jersey Supreme Court, Appellate Division and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Her work in chancery practice includes estate litigation, claims for injunctive relief in business disputes, shareholder disputes and restrictive covenants.

Ms. Kaller serves as chair of our firm’s Women’s Leadership Forum. She is an appointed member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts for the 2010-2012 term and is a former co-chair of the Financial Women’s Association New Jersey Committee (2010-2011 term).
