Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to welcome two New Jersey law school students as participants in the firm’s summer associate program for 2025.

Thomas Duke is a 2026 J.D. candidate at Seton Hall University School of Law after earning his B.B.A. degree summa cum laude from Temple University, which he attended on a full tuition scholarship as a dean’s list student for all semesters. The recipient of a merit-based Distinguished Scholarship, his law school activities include the Seton Hall Law Review (associate editor) and a Public Interest Law Fellowship. He recently served as a Division of Law intern in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. Prior to law school, he served for over three years as Government Affairs Coordinator for NJ Realtors. As an undergraduate student, he interned for former U.S. Senator Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.

Jake Newcomb is a 2026 J.D. candidate at Rutgers Law School – Newark. He earned his M.A. and B.A. degrees from Rutgers University. His law school activities include the Rutgers Law Review (staff editor) and volunteering as co-President of the International Refugee Assistance Project. While attending law school, he has served as an intern at New Jersey’s Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control and as a summer research fellow with the Rutgers Center for Law, Inequality and Metropolitan Equity. While earning his master’s degree, he taught English Language Arts at the middle school level.

Serving as law clerks, the firm’s summer associates gain tangible legal experience while working with partners and associates. They receive direct exposure to the legal process by attending closings, hearings/trials, depositions, negotiations and business meetings that take place throughout the summer. Seminars, luncheons and outings offer informal settings to further develop professional and personal ties to the firm and its attorneys.

Greenbaum’s summer program is coordinated by our partner Stephanie G. Reckord, who as a former Greenbaum summer associate herself can personally attest to the value provided to participants in the program.
