On June 1, 2004, the Woodbridge law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel LLP represented Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, one of the largest real estate investment trusts in the country, in the acquisition of the fee interest in 30 Knightsbridge Road, Piscataway, New Jersey, a four-building 670,000+ square foot office complex, and reacquired Kemble Plaza II, Morris Township, New Jersey, a 475,100 square foot office building. Two of the four buildings at 30 Knightsbridge were leased back by the seller for a term of 10 years. The remainder of the complex was leased back on a short term basis. Kemble Plaza II was also leased back on a short term basis.

In addition, Mack-Cali assumed lease obligations for approximately 927,300 square feet of office space at five office buildings in New Jersey: 30A Vreeland Road, 30B Vreeland Road and 15 Vreeland Road, Florham Park; 290 Davidson Avenue, Somerset; 437 Ridge Road, Dayton; and Teleport I and Teleport II, Staten Island, New York. Portions of the assumed space were sublet back by the assignor and other firms from Mack-Cali.

As part of the transaction, Mack-Cali extended its lease with its existing tenant at the 387,000 square foot Kemble Plaza I in Morris Township for an additional period of time.

The transaction was negotiated on behalf of Mack-Cali Realty Corp. by Mitchell E. Hersh, its President and Chief Executive Officer.
