Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that Charles J. Wilkes has been named a partner in the firm, effective January 1, 2018.

Mr. Wilkes concentrates his practice on commercial real estate and financing transactions. His work encompasses a variety of sophisticated matters, including the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial real estate and major redevelopment projects.  He is based in the firm’s Woodbridge office, where he is a member of the Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments and the Banking, Business Financing & Creditors' Rights Practice Group.

Mr. Wilkes is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust & Estate Law and the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.  He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law, and earned his B.A. magna cum laude from The Catholic University of America.  He was listed in the 2017 edition of Super Lawyers - New Jersey Rising Stars (a Thompson Reuters business) in the Real Estate practice area, and was selected for inclusion by the New Jersey Law Journal on the publication’s 2014 "New Leaders of the Bar” list.  Mr. Wilkes was previously an associate at the firm, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
