For the tenth year, staff and lawyers at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP in Woodbridge and Roseland, New Jersey, contributed toys for the Middlesex County Bar Association’s “Toys for Tots” Program. In all, the firm collected 14 boxes of new toys that are distributed to needy children at the holidays. Paralegal Ann McHugh organizes the collection of toys within the firm each year. She says that she enjoys doing it for the kids. “To me, the holidays are all about the kids.”

GRSD’s Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) collected food and dry goods for Elijah’s Promise in New Brunswick, a soup kitchen, culinary arts training school and client staffed catering business that was founded in 1989 through a coalition of local churches. The WLF continues to support Elijah’s Promise by volunteering at the soup kitchen and collecting food for the program.

The mission of the WLF is to advance women in the firm and in the business community at large by helping business leaders grow professionally and create and sustain business success. The Forum presents and sponsors a variety of education, networking and mentoring opportunities consistent with its mission that address topics such as the recent program, “Negotiating in Tough Economic Times.” Lawyers Catherine S. Shimsky and Emily A. Kaller co-chair the WLF.
