The law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP announces three new attorneys to the firm.  Robert F. McAnanly is the newest addition to the firm’s Real Estate Department as counsel in the firm’s Woodbridge location; in the Roseland office, Daniel M. Serviss joins as counsel and Thomas K. Murphy, III as an associate, both in the Litigation Department.

Mr. McAnanly concentrates his practice in commercial real estate and his experience includes transactional real estate matters, land use, and banking law.  Mr. McAnanly has extensive experience drafting and negotiating agreements for the purchase, sale or lease of commercial and residential real estate.  He has represented big box retailers in the purchase or lease of new store sites and has appeared before municipal land use boards in connection with modifications and expansions of existing big box retail stores.  He has represented both lenders and borrowers, in connection with real property secured loan transactions.  Prior to joining the firm he was a senior associate at Epstein, Fitzsimmons, Brown, Gioia, Jacobs & Sprouls, PC.   Mr. McAnanly is a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross and received his law degree from the Rutgers University School of Law-Camden.  Mr. McAnanly is a member of the American and New Jersey State Bar Associations.  He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.

Mr. Serviss is a member of the firm’s Family Law Practice Group.  He concentrates his practice on negotiation and trial practice of matrimonial litigation including divorce, post judgment litigation, civil unions, child custody and visitation disputes, preparation of Property Settlement Agreements and Ante-Nuptial Agreements, and domestic violence matters.  Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at Wilentz, Goldman and Spitzer, PA.  Mr. Serviss is a graduate of The George Washington University and received his law degree from the Seton Hall University School of Law.  While attending Seton Hall Law, he served as Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review and was listed in Who’s Who: American Law School Students in 1994-1995 & 1995-1996.  Mr. Serviss is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Middlesex and Essex County Bar Associations, as well as the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  Mr. Serviss is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Murphy is a member of the firm’s Product Liability Practice Group. His practice focuses on the defense of product liability and breach of warranty actions.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Murphy was an associate at Day Pitney LLP where he concentrated his practice in civil litigation and representing corporations in connection with franchise and commercial litigation matters at federal, state and administrative agency levels. While in law school, he served as a student law clerk for the Honorable George D. Salerno, N.Y. Supreme Court, Bronx, New York.  Mr. Murphy attended The John Hopkins University, where he received his B.A. in Economics. He earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as the Notes & Comments Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy and was a Carswell Merit Scholar. Mr. Murphy is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
