Jemi Goulian Lucey, an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, has been elected Co-Secretary of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA). Ms. Lucey has served on the Board of Directors of NJWLA since 2011 and is a former Co-Chair of the group’s Judicial Outreach and Programming Committees.
Ms. Lucey focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with a particular focus on complex commercial litigation, professional negligence defense and the productive use of litigation technology to reduce litigation costs and increase efficiency. She represents clients across a broad range of matters, including construction and engineering, civil fraud and business torts, employment related matters, commercial contract disputes and bankruptcy.
Ms. Lucey was the 2012 recipient of the Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the Middlesex County Bar Association. She has been listed in Super Lawyers - Rising Stars Edition (a Thompson Reuters business) in the Business Litigation practice area since 2011. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Historical Society of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Lucey also serves as a Lead Barrister with the The John C. Lifland American Inn of Court.
