Joseph M. Oriolo, a partner in the firm’s Corporate Department, has been elected Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Community YMCA (CYMCA) in Shrewsbury, NJ. Mr. Oriolo, a member of the CYMCA’s Board of Directors for over 8 years, also serves as Chief Volunteer Officer, on the Executive Committee, and as former Chairperson of the Governance Committee.

Mr. Oriolo concentrates his practice on the representation of privately held businesses and individuals across various business sectors, including retail, manufacturing, real estate, transportation and healthcare.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate practice.

Mr. Oriolo brings solution-oriented business acumen and strong negotiating and drafting skills to his practice, with a primary focus on corporate mergers and acquisitions, leveraged acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, asset and real estate based financing, real estate transactions and employment matters. He counsels clients on business planning and organization issues, and handles the drafting and negotiation of documents including asset and stock purchase agreements, leases, management and employment agreements, and distribution and licensing agreements. 

Mr. Oriolo’s participation in other community organizations include serving on the Board of Trustees of Big Day Out, a community service organization for developmentally challenged youths, and as a member of the Boards of the Young Athletic Committee of Shrewsbury, NJ, and the St. James Church in Red Bank, NJ.
