Mark H. Sobel, Co-Managing Partner of the firm, Chair of the Family Law Group at Greenbaum, and partner in the Litigation Department of Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, has been selected “Best Lawyers Newark Area Family Lawyer of the Year” for 2011.This honor bespeaks particularly high ratings in surveys by Best Lawyers taken from thousands of professional peers. Mr. Sobel’s practice focuses on litigation matters, primarily in the area of family law and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Sobel is the past chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Chair of the Alimony and Child Support Sub-Committee. He is a member of the NJ Supreme Court’s Special Committee to revise matrimonial law and is the Managing Editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer.

Mr. Sobel is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the Family Law category and in Super Lawyers - New Jersey Edition 2008 in the Family Law practice area.

Mr. Sobel graduated from George Washington University (B.A.) with distinction and received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He began his legal career as an Assistant Prosecutor for Essex County.

Mr. Sobel resides in Livingston, NJ.
