The law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is proud to announce that Litigation Department partners Dennis A. Estis, Robert M. Goodman and Mark H. Sobel have been named Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.

The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation is an honorary organization consisting of lawyers, judges, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. The Fellows support the research of the ABF through their annual contributions and sponsor programming of direct relevance to leaders of the legal profession.

Mr. Sobel is co-managing partner of the firm and chair of the Family Law Practice Group. He focuses his practice on litigation matters, primarily in the area of family law, and complex commercial litigation. He was selected as Best Lawyers "Family Lawyer of the Year" for 2011. He was the 2009 recipient of the Tischler Award from the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is a past chair of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Chair of the Alimony and Child Support Sub-Committee. He is a former member of the Essex County Bar Association Judicial Appointments Committee and previously served as Assistant Prosecutor in Essex County, NJ.

Mr. Estis is chair of the Construction Practice Group. He concentrates his practice on complex litigation, particularly relating to construction, condominiums, general business disputes, alternate dispute resolution (ADR), and real estate. He is a past president of the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA) and was the 2009 recipient of the David Pavlovsky "Service to the Bar" Award from the MCBA. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s General Council and former member of its Nominating Committee. Mr. Estis is also a Charter Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a Fellow of the National Conference of Bar Presidents.

Mr. Goodman is chair of the Product Liability Practice Group. His experience includes product liability matters, complex commercial litigation and white collar defense law. He is primarily involved in the defense of product manufacturers and represents manufacturers in many industries including numerous motor vehicle manufacturers and distributors and manufacturers and distributors of motor vehicle component parts. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the Product Liability Litigation category and in Super Lawyers - New Jersey Edition in the Civil Litigation Defense practice area. He is a member of the Product Liability Advisory Council and a Former Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey and Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division.
